Job DescriptionEssential Functions • Project Leadership & Execution, • Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans for transportation initiatives?from conception through completion., • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and on-budget delivery., • Coordinate cross-departmental teams to align project objectives with broader organizational goals., • Operational Oversight & Process Improvement, • Ensure that transportation services meet safety, regulatory, and performance standards while identifying opportunities for process improvement., • Lead the implementation of data-driven strategies by integrating performance metrics and trend analysis (drawing on approaches similar to those in the Data Analyst roles, )., • Oversee contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and maintenance of service level agreements to optimize fleet performance and cost efficiency., • Team Supervision & Stakeholder Engagement, • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to project teams and operational staff., • Collaborate with senior management, school leaders, and external stakeholders to deliver presentations, reports, and updates on project progress and transportation performance., • Facilitate training initiatives to ensure that staff and partners understand new processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements., • Data Analysis & Reporting, • Leverage analytical tools and reporting systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation services., • Generate narrative, statistical, and graphical reports that inform strategic decisions and drive continuous service improvement., • Work closely with data analysts and IT staff to ensure the accuracy and integrity of transportation data.Maximum Salary158364.00Minimum Salary89069.00Desired Qualifications, • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Transportation, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred, • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in A minimum of five years' progressive experience in project management within transportation, public sector, or a related field, including experience with budget management, contract negotiations, and data analysis., • Certifications: Must possess or be able to obtain a Fire Extinguisher Technician Certification., • Unless expressly stated otherwise with respect to the qualifications indicated in the position description, City Schools reserves the right to consider other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position., • Ability to interact with diverse constituencies and convey complicated information with tact and diplomacy., • Proficient skill in the use of technical computer applications, including electronic databases, case management systems, and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power Point., • Ability to exercise independent judgment., • Skill in research, presenting, and explaining policies and procedures, assembling data, preparing complex reports, and formulating and presenting recommendations., • Ability to work collaboratively., • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with school system employees and managers at all levels, as well as government agencies and community stakeholders., • Completed online application, • Resume that clearly demonstrates the above minimum qualifications.
