Job Description Job Description PACE Systems, Inc. is seeking a CAD Draftsman to support the design and documentation of Audio-Visual, premise security, and low-voltage electrical systems including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, FA, Intercom, Data Distribution. This role is ideal for a base-level to early-career CAD professional with hands-on drafting experience who is looking to grow within the low-voltage and AV industry. The CAD Draftsman will work closely with engineering, project management, and field teams to produce accurate drawings for client submittals, construction, and installation. Responsibilities • Produce and revise CAD drawings for AV, premise security, and low-voltage systems including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, FA, Intercom, Data Distribution, • Develop floor plans, elevations, riser diagrams, and system layouts, • Update drawings based on redlines, field changes, and project revisions, • Maintain drawing standards, layering, and title blocks, • Assist with project documentation and submittal packages, • Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure design intent is met, • 3 - 5 years of CAD drafting experience, • Proficiency in AutoCAD, • Experience or exposure to low-voltage systems, including:, • Audio-Visual systems, • Security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion), • Structured cabling / low-voltage electrical, • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings as well as specifications and project manuals, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Experience drafting AV or security system drawings, • Familiarity with basic industry standards and symbols, • Exposure to construction or integrator environments, • Not a senior-level or lead engineering role, • Not focused on software development or advanced programming, • Stable, growing integrator in AV and low-voltage systems, • Hands-on exposure to real-world projects, • Collaborative, team-oriented environment, • Opportunity to grow skills and advance within the company Benefits • Medical insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Paid time off, • Stable, full-time employment Equal Employment Opportunity Statement PACE Systems, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
