Job DescriptionStep into the heart of our production floor When you clock in, you become the go-to expert who keeps power flowing and equipment performing. You’ll move from assembling control panels and wire harnesses to calibrating sensors, testing circuits, and verifying output, capacity, and system health. One hour you might be expanding infrastructure with new wiring; the next, you’re diagnosing a stubborn fault, replacing a control module, and confirming the fix with a meticulous functional test. Throughout, you’ll work safely around high voltage, practice disciplined lockout/ Tag Out, respect Arc Flash Hazard protocols, and safeguard gear from electrostatic discharge. What you’ll handle • Diagnose issues, replace or repair components (including defective control modules), test, and fine-tune for optimal performance., • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and document results., • Use hand and power tools and electric meters confidently to complete varied tasks., • Operate with vigilance in high-voltage environments and uphold all safety rules., • Comply with lockout/ Tag Out, Arc Flash Hazard, and Electrostatic discharge procedures at all times., • Conduct rigorous tests and acceptance checks on new systems and completed repairs., • Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and associated equipment., • Respond rapidly to service requests; troubleshoot and restore electrical systems efficiently., • Install new equipment and wiring to expand or strengthen plant infrastructure., • Store, maintain, and utilize tools and test equipment properly., • Perform other related duties as assigned. What you’ll bring, • Hands-on experience with 3‑phase systems and work with 480 V equipment., • Availability for overtime when needed and the ability to follow verbal and written directions., • Team-first mindset; strong communication in a collaborative environment., • Capability to operate material handling equipment while following safety instructions., • Solid grounding in basic electrical/electronic theory, National Electrical Code Standards, and AC/DC troubleshooting logic and practice., • Fluency with instruments, meters, gauges, and dials; able to read electrical schematics and PLC programs to diagnose performance and process health., • Comfort with advanced trade math to calculate settings and calibrations for specific performance targets., • Ability to interpret complex drawings/specifications and execute detailed written instructions safely., • Good judgment and technical acumen, especially when working near power sources and high voltage or with minimal guidance. Education and experience, • Manufacturing experience preferred., • 2‑year degree in electrical technology preferred., • 2+ years as an electrical technician., • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and necessary equipment., • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings., • Proficiency with manual and power tools. Physical realities of the job, • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching., • Work in tight spaces and at heights using ladders or lifts., • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds., • Hands-on manipulation of small components and tools; color recognition for wiring; reading small gauges and instruments., • Consistent use of required PPE; adherence to company safety policies and OSHA standards., • Operation within a manufacturing setting with noise, moving equipment, and variable temperatures.
