From Saint Hilaire sous Romilly, you will be part of our sales team dedicated to key accounts activity in France. About the Role The Purchasing Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the purchasing strategy for mechanical and textile products and components, both locally and globally. The role ensures secure, competitive, and sustainable sourcing while supporting operational needs, cost optimization, and supplier performance in line with Group standards, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) requirements. Responsibilities • Purchasing & Sourcing Strategy, • Define and deploy purchasing strategies for mechanical and textile categories at local and international levels, • Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers worldwide in line with cost, quality, delivery, and risk criteria, • Ensure alignment of purchasing strategies with Group policies and objectives, • Supplier Management & Negotiation, • Lead price negotiations, commercial agreements, and contracts with suppliers, • Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, innovation) and drive continuous improvement plans, • Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular business reviews, • Supply Management & Operational Support, • Ensure purchasing support for production and project needs by anticipating and securing supply requirements, • Monitor and follow up procurement needs in close collaboration with production, planning, logistics, and engineering teams, • Contribute to supply continuity and risk mitigation actions, • CSR & Compliance, • Integrate CSR, ethical sourcing, and sustainability criteria into supplier selection and evaluation, • Ensure supplier compliance with Group policies regarding social responsibility, environmental standards, and business ethics, • Participate in supplier audits and improvement programs related to CSR objectives, • Team Management, • Manage, support, and develop a purchasing team of 3 people, • Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and promote skills development, • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven, and continuous improvement mindset, • Cross-Functional & Group Cooperation, • Work transversally with other departments (Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance), • Collaborate with other purchasing and industrial structures within the Group to leverage synergies and best practices Qualifications • Master’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent, • Professionnal English Required Skills • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in purchasing within an industrial environment, • Proven experience in mechanical and/or textile industries, • Demonstrated experience in international sourcing and supplier negotiations, • First management experience required Preferred Skills • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, • Solid understanding of industrial supply chains, • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment, • Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, • Strong awareness of CSR and sustainable sourcing practices Pay range and compensation package • Healthcare & Life insurance, • Executive position in an international industrial group, • Exposure to global sourcing and cross-functional collaboration, • Opportunities for professional development and career growth, • Mileage allowance, • Canteen Equal Opportunity Statement Global Company Career Development A Safety Focused Employer A Sustainable Business Value-based Culture Diverse Company Equal-Opportunity Employer
