About the Role As the Media Streaming R&D Manager, you will lead and develop an international team of software engineers responsible for building cutting‑edge video streaming technologies across the entire media processing chain, from ingestion and transcoding to caching and delivery. You will operate at the heart of a global R&D organization, working daily with distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones. This role requires strong technical leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and spoken. You will ensure that your team runs efficiently, delivers robust and high‑quality solutions, and collaborates seamlessly within the broader international R&D ecosystem. Beyond day‑to‑day management, you will foster innovation, drive engineering best practices, and help shape the strategic evolution of the company’s media streaming technologies. Team Leadership & People Management • Lead a multicultural and distributed team of engineers., • Structure, prioritize, and coordinate development activities to meet delivery commitments., • Establish clear processes, KPIs, and reporting routines for progress, quality, and risks., • Work closely with architecture teams to shape the streaming platform’s evolution., • Ensure scalability, reliability, observability, and cost‑efficiency of media streaming components., • Collaborate with various R&D teams to ensure alignment on design, interfaces, and delivery plans., • Communicate efficiently across cultures and teams, adapting to diverse communication styles., • Ensure effective documentation and information sharing within the global organization. Required Profile You are a collaborative, curious, structured, and internationally‑minded leader, comfortable managing both people and complex technical topics. You thrive in multicultural environments and communicate naturally in English with global teams. Qualifications • Proven experience in managing software development teams., • Solid background in software engineering., • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust across cultures and geographies., • Strong organizational skills: planning, prioritization, reporting, and steering multi-team projects., • Fluency in English (spoken and written), enabling efficient daily collaboration with global teams., • Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional project management.
