We are looking to recruit both individuals and families. We welcome enquiries from anyone with the willingness and enthusiasm to change a child’s life for the better. Previous experience of working with children in any setting is advantageous but not essential.
TYPES OF FOSTERING:
Mainstream: Children/siblings between ages of 5-18 requiring a safe and stable home on a short term (few days to a maximum of 2 years) or long term basis (till independence)
Children with disabilities: Children with additional needs/disabilities between the ages of 0-18 who require a safe and stable home life for a short term (few days to a maximum of 2 years) or long term basis (till independence)
Short breaks for children with disabilities: giving children with disabilities the chance to have experiences outside their family, developing independence skills and offering the chance to form new friendships. Short breaks can be a few hours, overnight stay, a weekend or full week
Supported Lodgings: Aiming to give young people aged 16+ good quality accommodation together with security and support that living with a responsible adult can offer.
