Main Duties & Responsibilities As a Bartender you will be responsible for: Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional. Having a complete, but expanding, knowledge of our cocktails, wines by the glass, spirits and beers and a thorough understanding of our food menu items. Guiding the guests individual experience with your knowledge of the menus and wine lists, giving them a glimpse of their upcoming dining experience. Being leaders behind the bar, mentoring junior team members and sharing your knowledge. Leading a section and following the steps of service on the bar floor and assisting in the dining room when necessary. Handling complaints in a timely and efficient manner. Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.
