A global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm with over 70 years of track record in successful project delivery, Please visit our website: About the role Surbana Jurong Group is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to support the implementation of our robust compliance programs across key business areas, Buildings & Cities and Infrastructure & Energy. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our business activities are aligned with our core values, ethics, and code of conduct. As a role model for integrity and compliance, you’ll guide/influence colleagues in our AECA businesses (Robert Bird Group, SMEC and Atelier Ten) to uphold these principles, ensuring that all business practices reflect the highest standards of ethical conduct. You will also be entrusted with addressing compliance challenges faced by our teams globally, including those operating in high-risk locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and refine policies and procedures within our compliance program. You will collaborate with colleagues across various advisory/supporting functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Treasury and IT. Key accountabilities • Implement and manage the SJ Group Compliance Program across AECA businesses., • Oversee day-to-day compliance operations and reporting., • Design and deliver compliance training and internal communications., • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Treasury, IT, and other support functions., • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders., • Address compliance challenges in high-risk jurisdictions. Qualifications • Proven experience in engineering consulting, particularly in project management and delivery., • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing compliance programs (anti-bribery, competition law, trade sanctions)., • Experience managing third-party risk and conducting integrity due diligence., • Familiarity with compliance issues in high-risk or emerging markets., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
