Who are we? Caledonian Concepts proudly organise the most iconic mass participation events in Scotland including the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running, the Etape Loch Ness cycle sportive and the Inverness Half Marathon. In 2025, 22,000 participants attended the three events raising an estimated £1 million for charity. The events inspire activity amongst all ages, demographics and ability. The company was acquired in 2024 by London Marathon Events and continues to be run from Inverness, retaining its unique heritage and identity. The Role Role Title: Event Delivery Manager Location: Inverness Full time (40 hours per week) with minimum of 3 days in office per week Salary: Competitive Start date: 5th January 2026 Key Responsibilities As Event Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in our small, growing team as we deliver and expand our exciting portfolio of mass-participation events. You will take a lead role in charity partnerships, the participant journey and event delivery — helping to drive the future success and development of the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional participant experiences. • Lead stewardship of our newly restructured charity programme and develop strong partnerships with existing and new charities., • Support the growth of business and community engagement initiatives across the event portfolio., • Contribute to the planning and delivery of sustainability initiatives across all events., • Manage and oversee all registration processes including the online booking system, participant merchandising and participant journey., • Build and maintain relationships with registration platform provider, online fundraising partner, suppliers and event partners., • Lead delivery of all registration, merchandise and results functions at events, • Manage event village venues including expo, charity expo, hospitality, liaising with suppliers and licence applications., • Work closely with the CEO, COO and Senior Event Operations Manager across all event planning and delivery., • Collaborate with London Marathon Events on new developments and strategic initiatives. Skills & Experience: • Approachable, collaborative and a strong team player, • Proven experience in event delivery or project management role, ideally within mass participation, sporting or outdoors events, • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail, • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and adapting in fast-paced environments, • Ability to work independently, managing competing priorities and work flexibly across different project areas, • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, • Full driving licence, • Confident user of technology with ability to learn systems quickly, • Excellent IT proficiency including Microsoft 365, • Familiarity with online project management tools (desirable) How to Apply We are looking forward to hearing from you.
