Does this sound like an organisation you'd like to be part of? The Role People Development Specialist, up to £ £48,668 plus car or car allowance at £7,250, hybrid working, Bristol. This pivotal position is not a Trainer role. Instead, you will lead the design and continuous improvement of the training programmes. You will also be skills mapping and planning development programmes that ensure the all-important workforce is qualified, safe, and future-ready with a strong focus on: • Ensuring the workforce is qualified to deliver services to customers in compliance with the Building Safety Act, • Developing, managing and maximising a CITB relationship and funding, • Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to drive safety standards, • Designing and rolling out robust operative/trade development training programmes for key skill areas, including qualifications to recognise skills, • Consulting and collaborating to schedule operations design and delivery priorities and implement solutions to ensure progression opportunities and capability building, • Developing and delivering training on key operational, legal and safety initiatives, • Leveraging external funding opportunities and partnerships to enhance the breadth and quality of training initiatives as well as utilise funding and partnerships with trades to provide training for upcoming projects., • Content Curation & Development - Working with subject-matter experts to expand the digital learning offer, • Designing and improving compliance training and initiatives aligned with industry regulations and best practices, • Regularly update the skills matrix to reflect current capabilities and future requirements, • Delivering training initiatives to improve productivity for operatives and operational management teams, • Evaluating & enhancing the toolbox talk programme - improving and monitoring to maximise results This opportunity requires a Learning & Development Professional with a strong background in the construction / property sector - this could be housebuilders, housing association, new build, council, property maintenance.This will require the following competencies: • Training Design & Delivery, • Evaluation of the L&D programme's effectiveness, • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration, • Operational Knowledge, • Compliance & Regulatory Awareness, • Digital & Automated Learning Systems, • Project & Programme Management, • Continuous Improvement & Innovation, • Research, Design, Development, Delivery and Facilitation skills, • Skilled in creating engaging, structured training materials and facilitating sessions for diverse audiences, • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills This is an opportunity to join a successful, well-established and growing company that's committed to its people and believes employees are the heart of their success, so work hard to create a supportive, rewarding, and inclusive environment: • Up to £ £48,668 plus car or car allowance at £7,250 plus an annual profit share!, • Pension - 7% company contribution with 5% from you, life cover (3x) and PMI…there's also Free parking!, • Flexible Working Options, • Career Development & Progression, • Performance-Based Rewards, • Supportive Culture, • Long-Term Career Sustainability, • Recognition & Appreciation What to do next If you possess the above competencies and skills in the construction/property sector, please provide an up-to-date CV detailing the below asap: • Your proven experience in designing and delivering operational training within a trade, construction, property, housing association or maintenance environment, • Strong knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, and risk management in operational settings Recruiting experts in Human Resources Desired Skills and Experience Learning and Development, L&D, Training, Talent Development Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
