    Barking

I have just set up a new restaurant in Barking Riverside. The restaurant is situated in the commercial space of a new build residential development. The master plan for barking riverside involves the construction of 21,850 new homes and there are currently 4,000 occupied dwellings. The Spot is the first and only restaurant that serves this development and I am looking for a dedicated, driven and ambitious restaurant manager to take over the day to day management of this location while I focus on securing the next 2 locations and subsequent expansion of The Spot across London. I have invested heavily into the project and I’m looking for someone to drive sales both in store and on the delivery apps. I have also engaged a marketing company to drive forward the socials in parallel to the work you will be doing. I would expect you to manage every aspect of the business from ordering stock and supplies, daily prep, managing rotas and working to budgets to ensure costs are kept low and margins high, engaging the local community and finding new ways to drive sales. In terms of what we do, we are a Mexo -American restaurant and a modern interpretation of the American diner. The menu consists of tacos, wings, sliders, po’ boys and salads. I am also considering operating some dark kitchens out of the same premises so if you have a passion for cooking, we can work together to develop a new restaurant menu specifically for the delivery apps. I’m thinking along the lines of smash burgers etc. The successful candidate would become my right hand person when it comes to the restaurant and hospitality arm of my businesses and if you help me grow, I will ensure your route for progression remains open, accessible and fast paced. The role will involved performance related bonuses/incentives on top of the basic salary. If you are interested, please get in touch with a CV and we can arrange a suitable time to meet at the restaurant for a further discussion.
