Are you a dynamic individual seeking an opportunity to support children in a Special Educational Needs environment? Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, if you have experience with various SEND needs such as ASC, SEMH, PMLD, and more, we want to hear from you! We are currently seeking a creative individual to join our school community, providing support to children with SEND needs. Previous experience is not necessary for this role! As an actor/actress, you bring a wealth of transferable skills to the table, including proficiency in role-playing. SEND Needs: Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome and Moderate Learning Difficulties SEMH Needs: Anxiety, Depression and Trauma Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, reinforcing targets, offering supervision and support as needed, and maintaining consistent routines for the children. A calm and positive attitude is essential, as is a proactive approach to building relationships with the children. While experience working with children is preferred, it is not essential for this role, a creative and positive mindset is a must. What You’ll Be Doing: • Providing 1:1 support to children with special needs and lower ability levels., • Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other Specific Learning Difficulties., • Assisting in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive learning experiences., • Helping to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported., • A flexible, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs., • No prior school experience required – we’ll provide online training to equip you with the skills you need., • Graduates or those with transferrable skills in areas like childcare, psychology, or social care are encouraged to apply., • Competitive pay rates that reflect your skills and commitment., • Wellbeing support to help you balance work and personal life., • 24/7 access to your personal consultant who’s always available to offer guidance and support., • Ongoing training to enhance your knowledge and skillset.
