My client is currently looking for a Paraplanner to join their business in Blackpool. \n \n THE ROLE \n\n • Undertake Paraplanning activity for the Planners on the team and in exceptional circumstances, provide support to the wider Paraplanning team.\n, • Undertake appropriate, accurate and relevant research, based on the information gathered by the Planner, known information for clients in the on-going advice service and existing products/services the client has, to enable a suitable solution to be recommended to meet the client’s needs and objectives with a good outcome\n, • Undertake accurate calculations and cash-flow modelling where needed to support recommendations\n, • Prepare suitability reports and letters for the Planners to provide their recommendation based on our knowledge of the client, their documented needs, objectives, risk profile, to support a good client outcome, adapting your approach for clients in vulnerable circumstances\n, • Ensure that drafted suitability reports and other communications are clear, fair, and not misleading\n, • Draft and co-ordinate technical documents and research for client presentation\n, • When undertaking research or preparing suitability reports proactively identify areas of potential future advice and raise with the Planner for them to discuss with the client.\n, • Prepare and submit new account paperwork for client onboarding\n, • Arrange client meetings, valuations, meeting packs and manage the Wealth Planners diaries\n, • Complete any required post meeting actions and minutes\n, • Be a first contact point for clients to handle general queries, escalating complex queries to the Planner, adapting your approach for clients in vulnerable circumstances\n, • Prepare letters of authority for signing\n, • Prepare client application forms in line with suitability report recommendations, ensuring they are actioned when returned by the client within business agreed timeframes and with accuracy\n, • Deal with finance queries including invoices, billing, WIP, commissions, etc\n\n \n EXPERIENCED NEEDED \n\n • Previous experienced in a Paraplanner or Prainee Paraplanner Role.\n, • Commitment to achieve RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning within reasonable timeframe, with subsequent commitment to achieve Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and CII Chartered status (Level 6)\n\n \n BENEFITS: \n\n • Pension: Up to 7.5% employer matching (4.5% employee minimum contribution)\n, • Private Medical Insurance: Cover for employee, spouse/partner, and children via Vitality from day one\n, • Medical Cash Plan: Dental, eye care, physiotherapy, and more via Simply Health\n, • Life Assurance: 4x annual salary (from start date)\n, • 25 days holiday, increasing with tenure (+ bank holidays)\n, • Share Incentive Plan: Company matched shares (after 6 months)\n, • Electric Car Scheme, Cycle to Work, and Interest-Free Season Ticket Loan\n, • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave\n, • Wellness Days, flu jabs, eye care vouchers\n, • Microsoft Office for home use\n, • Hybrid Working after probationary period\n, • Discounts on the company’s own investment services\n\n
