Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage engineering functions including electronic design, mechanical design, test, NPI, and project management., • Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept, design, verification and compliance through to production and end-of-life., • Drive the development and delivery of electronic and system solutions for demanding applications in sectors such as defence, medical, and industrial., • Implement and optimise PLM processes to improve project efficiency and delivery., • Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g. BS EN, UL, FCC)., • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and quality to achieve business objectives., • Manage budgets, resources, and project schedules across multiple teams and geographies., • Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements: • Degree in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)., • Proven track record in engineering leadership within electronics manufacturing., • Extensive experience in product lifecycle management, systems integration, and new product introduction., • Strong background in electronic design and complex product development., • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites., • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills., • Experience with risk management, quality assurance, and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities · Lead and structure the engineering team to deliver reliable, manufacturable, class-compliant designs. · Own engineering delivery from concept to detailed design, testing, production handover, ILS and product safety. · Own the product and technology roadmap to align with stakeholder requirements · Manage engineering budgets, forecasting, tools, training, and specialist resources. · Provide high-quality technical input to support commercial bids and business development. · Align engineering work with company vision and delivery milestones. · Work closely with external stakeholders such as; manufacturing partners, shipyards, and class societies. · Support CEO in shaping long-term technical vision and IP strategy. What We’re Looking For · Essential Experience o 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, with strong exposure to a range of engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, electrical, software, systems integration) o Full lifecycle experience, from concept to in-service. o Deep understanding of Product Safety and regulatory compliance. o Deep experience of managing Requirements, Verification and Validation · Desirable Experience: o Setting up engineering processes o Marine engineering or wind propulsion background. o Experience defining and executing technology and product roadmaps. o 3D modelling, 2D drawing development and review. o Exposure to control software development. · Qualifications: o Degree qualified in engineering or related field. o Chartered Engineer (or equivalent professional recognition) preferred.
