\n Job Description\n Job Purpose \n We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Vision to lead the end-to-end ownership of our video telematics product line. This leadership role is responsible for development, deployment, and in-life support. \n The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in camera hardware and device ecosystems with strong leadership capabilities, ensuring seamless collaboration across product, engineering, and support teams. \n What you’ll be doing \n Product Leadership & Ownership \n \n • Own the full lifecycle of the video telematics product portfolio, including development, launch, and post-release optimization\n, • Translate business requirements into scalable, innovative product solutions\n, • Ensure timely and successful product delivery aligned with business objectives and market needs\n \n Hardware Development Leadership \n \n • Lead the end-to-end hardware development process for video telematics camera systems\n, • Oversee design, validation, testing, and production readiness of camera devices\n, • Partner with engineering teams and suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable hardware solutions\n \n Device Management & Firmware \n \n • Own and oversee device management platforms, including configuration management and remote deployment capabilities\n, • Lead firmware development cycles including planning, testing, release, and lifecycle maintenance\n, • Ensure robust processes for firmware validation, version control, and release governance\n, • Maintain detailed and accurate change logs for firmware and configuration releases\n \n Configuration Management \n \n • Develop and maintain scalable configuration frameworks for video telematics devices\n, • Ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability of configuration changes\n, • Implement best practices for configuration creation, deployment, and rollback strategies\n, • Maintain comprehensive documentation and change control processes\n \n Cross-functional Collaboration \n \n • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across product, software engineering, and operational support functions\n, • Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders including product management, operations, and customer support\n, • Drive alignment across teams to ensure smooth handoffs from development through deployment and support\n, • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement\n \n Team Leadership \n \n • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing resource allocation and prioritization across initiatives\n Qualifications\n What we’re looking for \n Technical Expertise \n \n • Extensive experience in video telematics, IoT, or connected device ecosystems\n, • Proven track record in hardware development for camera or imaging products\n, • Strong understanding of device management platforms, firmware lifecycle, and remote device operations\n, • Deep knowledge of configuration management systems and change control processes\n, • Familiarity with embedded systems, video processing technologies, and connectivity protocols\n \n Leadership & Management \n \n • Demonstrated experience leading hardware development and support teams in a complex product environment\n, • Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching and team development\n, • Experience owning product lines with full accountability for delivery and performance\n \n Process & Operational Excellence \n \n • Expertise in structured product development
