£115000 GBP Onsite WORKING Location: Central London, Greater London - United Kingdom Type: Permanent Insurance Lead Sector Architect (Senior Manager / Director) Hybrid - UK wide (flexible location) £120,000-£160,000 + bonus - Permanent If you're an experienced architect with a passion for shaping the future of Insurance, this is a chance to lead transformation at scale - helping global insurers modernise legacy platforms, embrace cloud and data innovation, and deliver customer-centric digital experiences. This role sits at the intersection of technology leadership and sector strategy, where you'll work with senior stakeholders across the industry to design the architectures that underpin next-generation insurance operations. What you'll be doing • Lead end-to-end digital and technology transformations across major Insurance clients., • Define and deliver North Star architecture strategies that drive business agility and competitive advantage., • Spearhead innovation in Cloud, Data, and AI, developing sector accelerators and reusable assets., • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior executives, helping shape technology-enabled growth and regulatory resilience., • Partner across global teams and vendors to deliver integrated, sector-specific solutions. Experience required, • 10-15+ years' experience leading architecture and transformation programmes in the Insurance sector., • Proven success designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions across core platforms (e.g. Guidewire, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud)., • Strong understanding of insurance-specific regulations, including Solvency UK and FCA Consumer Duty., • Hands-on experience across solution, data, integration, and security architecture, ideally with major cloud platforms., • Recognised certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe, and/or vendor accreditations (AWS, Azure, GCP, Guidewire). (Director-level candidates should also bring experience in business development, vendor alliance management, and strategic market leadership.)
