Job Title: Teaching Assistant Apprentice (Level 3) Salary: £19,871 - £23,555 (Age depending) per annumClosing Date: 2025-09-21About the Role Apprenticeship pay rates for this post are dependent on age. Please see below for the applicable rates: Level 3 Apprenticeship Rates: • 18-20 years - £19,871 per annum Please be aware that you will be expected to work with animals in this role. What You Will Do • Develop an understanding of the specific needs of the students to be supported, taking into account the type of support involved., • Observe individuals and groups of students’ personal, social and learning achievements. Maintain appropriate records, monitor progression and attainment and provide reports and information to inform and support the assessment process., • Organise and undertake activities with either individuals or small groups of students, to facilitate their emotional and educational development to enable their full potential to be reached., • Assist students where appropriate, in the proper use of learning aides and equipment and to ensure that they are readily available., • Carry out routine administrative tasks i.e. photocopying, basic record keeping, utilising IT skills., • Assist with the development of appropriate resources to support learning. About You, • L2 Literacy and numeracy skills to level 2/GCSE grade a-c In English and Mathematics., • Willing to work towards and complete the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship provided at the College., • Able to work positively with others as part of the team., • Creativity and ability to develop engaging displays and learning resources.
