About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, proactive, and forward-thinking clinical pharmacy leader to join a vibrant and dynamic team within progressive and highly rated clinical services at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton The Site Lead Pharmacist is the most senior pharmacist on site, leading, delivering, developing, managing and evaluating the clinical pharmacy services to Southampton hospital, UTC and affiliated departments. This role is accountable for governance, quality, and workforce objectives, ensuring alignment with the national medicines optimisation strategy. The focus is on the provision of high quality, safe, comprehensive (clinical, supply, financial and operational) pharmaceutical services, in accordance with the priorities set by the Site Senior Management and National Director of Pharmacy. As the Site Lead Pharmacist, you will be expected to act as a role model in line with corporate objectives, the group medicines optimisation agenda and national professional standards for hospital pharmacy. This post would be ideal for someone looking to extend their clinical leadership with a specialist interest and experience in elective care and specialist medicines. You will be supported to continue and further develop your clinical pharmacy practice in line with your previous experience/interests. As our Site Lead Pharmacist, you will - • Lead, co-ordinate and monitor the delivery of an exemplary and patient focused pharmacy service in accordance with all current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements., • Support the Senior Site Management and National Director of Pharmacy in setting the strategic direction and developing the infrastructure for the delivery of a high-quality patient focused and progressive clinical pharmacy service to the site and affiliated departments., • Establish and maintain robust clinical governance arrangements (risk management, guidelines, policies, audits, etc) for all aspects of medicines management within the site and affiliates departments., • Be responsible for the pharmacy services on a day-to-day basis, ensure that the clinical ward and dispensary cover are managed efficiently and that all of reporting staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities and deliver effectively., • Act as a role model and the site most senior pharmacist; provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines., • Collaborate on a multidisciplinary level, to help us deliver an efficient, high quality and patient focused healthcare service. What we’ll look for in you With your current registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), you will also have: • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent, • Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent, • Independent prescribing qualification or willing to work towards a qualification, • Extensive experience in secondary or primary care at a senior level within clinical pharmacy services, • Strong people management skills with demonstrable experience of supervision, training, appraisal, and workforce development., • Experience in managing pharmacy services including service development, KPI reporting and assurance What you can expect in return; • Salary circa £65,000 based on experience, • An extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, • 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays, • The support you need to grow in your role and continue your professional development If you have any questions, contact in our friendly resourcing team. We are looking for an Health and Safety Advisor to work in conjunction with Health and Safety Manager to manage, monitor and deliver all health and safety procedures on-site. This is an exciting position with the opportunity to work for a long standing and innovative company in the Cladding, Facades and Rendering industry. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the skills and knowledge of site staff, look at training or requalification as required. Regular site visits. Liaise with clients and attend meetings as required. Investigating and reporting of incidents. Prepare and distribute regular health and safety alerts as required. Liaise with technical, quality and contracts departments to ensure procedures and manuals include all relevant H&S requirements. H&S internal management system for ISO 9001 and 14001. Attend pre-start site surveys, project handover meetings and ongoing project meetings as required. Attend regular H&S review meetings. Work with the H&S Manager to prepare H&S strategies and internal policies and ensure all project management staff are aware of company policies and procedures. Carry out H&S inspections and audits on a regular and ad hoc basis in order to monitor compliance with company procedures. Assist the site teams with closing out issues that are identified during inspections or audits. Ensure any breaches in procedures and hazards are identified, corrected and flagged to the site team. Ensure incidents, accidents and near misses, are recorded and reported as per company procedures. Keep up to date with relevant changes in legislation, regulations and industry requirements and best practice. Write method statements and risk assessments where required. Support site management in the production, review and implementation of project management plans, construction phase plans and project H&S documentation. Liaise with client representatives, other stakeholders and sub-contractors in order to establish good working relationships in relation to the health, safety and environmental management of sites. Skills & Qualifications NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent Experience of the construction and insulation industry. Experience of ISO 9001 and 14001 CDM Regulations 2015 Work at Height Regulations 2005, and knowledge of TG20-21 and SG4 NASC SSIP schemes Preferable IOSH Deliver training and presentations Working knowledge of all major health and safety legislation, including the Work at Height Regulations 2005, and knowledge of TG20-21 and SG4 NASC requirements Experience of SSIP schemes NEBOSH Certificate in Construction CSCS card Competent user of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook.
