    We are looking for a motivated, experienced and hands-on Butcher’s Shop Manager to lead day-to-day operations at The Meat Stop, a growing butcher shop with a strong reputation for quality, service and innovation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident in both butchery and management, and who can drive the business forward. Key Responsibilities Butchery & Product Quality Carry out skilled butchery: cutting, trimming, deboning and preparing meats to shop standards. Maintain high levels of quality control, product display and stock rotation. Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures are followed. Shop Operations Oversee daily shop opening, closing, cleanliness and organisation. Manage stock levels, place supplier orders and reduce waste. Handle cashing up, EPOS entries and daily reporting. Team Leadership Supervise and support staff, including training, rota planning and performance management. Maintain a positive, efficient working environment. Lead by example with strong customer service and professional standards. Customer Service Greet and assist customers, handle special requests, and manage complaints professionally. Support in building strong customer relationships and improving overall shop experience. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with UK food safety legislation, allergens, hygiene and record-keeping. Maintain accurate documentation: temperature logs, cleaning schedules, HACCP checks, and deliveries. ✅ Requirements Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in butchery (shop or commercial). Previous supervisory or management experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation and portioning. Good understanding of food safety standards and HACCP. Organised, reliable, and able to work independently. Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

We are a children’s home provider in Norbury, London, SW16. About the Role: Inspire Hope are currently looking to recruit Residential Support Workers for a 3 bedded Children’s home in Norbury (EBD). As a Residential Support Worker, you will be a major part of a dedicated team, providing care and support to young people with the aim of helping them develop the skills and resilience needed to become confident, capable adults, and achieve their full potential in life. You will play a key role in ensuring that each young person in your care is supported emotionally, socially, and practically as they work towards their personal goals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with day-to-day activities, helping children navigate their education, and supporting them in building life skills for independence. This role requires experience with food hygiene, HACCP, BRC standards, and a proactive approach to managing technical documentation, specifications, customer complaints, and audits. What does the role of Technical Assistant entail? · Provide technical support to suppliers, customers, and internal commercial teams on-site and during production. · Collate, review, and maintain product specifications, including ingredients, allergens, and nutritional data. · Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances; identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions. · Liaise with suppliers for technical documentation (e.g., microbiological reports, allergen and nutrition information). · Conduct and document traceability exercises; maintain accurate product and raw material records. · Support maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including HACCP, Supplier Approval, and BRCGS compliance. · Assist in internal and external audits (BRCGS, FSA, customer). · Conduct internal audits and report non-conformances. · Complete internal training on food safety, hygiene, and compliance. · Act as liaison between suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues effectively. · Provide technical assistance to Commercial, Sales, and Retail Support teams. · Coordinate with external labs for product testing and certification. · Manage product artwork and labeling to meet UK/EU legislation. What qualifications and experience are required for this role? • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a meat processing or food manufacturing environment, with knowledge of quality, technical, or production management systems., • Ability to work independently without direct supervision., • Experience with technical documentation, traceability, and complaint resolution., • Strong attention to detail and communication skills., • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related (preferred)., • HACCP Level 3, TACCP & VACCP Level 2, Internal Auditor certified., • Food Safety Level 2 (minimum)., • Familiarity with UK/EU food regulations and labelling standards.
