Design, Specification & Project Delivery • Lead design and specification work for mechanical heating systems, including BEMS and conventional controls., • Collaborate with electrical engineering and energy colleagues on capital, planned and reactive maintenance projects., • Support the development of project briefs, advise on construction processes, identify statutory constraints and assist with budget preparation., • Oversee all stages of the design process, including technical appraisals, site supervision, issuing variation instructions and ensuring quality standards. Financial & Operational Management • Prepare, monitor and manage annual mechanical services budgets., • Manage budgets for new build and refurbishment projects, ensuring value for money and adherence to best practice., • Support the development of financial processes and standards across the Facilities function., • Monitor workloads, audits, inspections and service delivery targets for staff under your supervision. Your main responsibilities are to deliver high-quality electrical maintenance, reactive repairs, and small installation works across a commercial site, ensuring all electrical systems, building maintenance and plant operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities: Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and associated plant in line with maintenance schedules and statutory regulations. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime and disruption. Complete small electrical installation works, including containment, wiring, testing, and commissioning of new or modified systems.
