With a large team of property professionals across multiple divisions, they offer an excellent working environment, strong career development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. \n Role Overview: \n We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Property Manager to join a busy Residential Property Management team in Oxford. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of residential properties throughout the full tenancy lifecycle, from check-in and ongoing management through to check-out and deposit negotiations. \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Manage a portfolio of residential properties throughout the full tenancy lifecycle.\n, • Deal efficiently and professionally with issues arising during tenancies.\n, • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.\n, • Manage property check-ins and check-outs, including inventories and schedules of condition.\n, • Conduct six-monthly property inspections and provide landlords with updates on the condition of their properties.\n, • Promptly communicate with tenants regarding any required actions or works.\n, • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, providing regular updates on maintenance and accounts matters.\n, • Identify and recommend property upgrades, refurbishment and improvement works where appropriate.\n, • Organise and oversee between-tenancy works, including dilapidation works, to ensure properties are ready for re-let as quickly as possible.\n, • Negotiate and manage deposit returns at the end of tenancies.\n, • Maintain a strong working knowledge of property legislation and compliance requirements.\n, • Assist with the management of properties for institutional landlords, ensuring their specific requirements, investment objectives and compliance standards are met.\n, • Work towards departmental targets and contribute to the continued growth and development of the property management team.\n, • Ensure all records and administrative processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.\n\n Skills and Qualifications: \n\n • Previous experience within Property Management or a similar residential property role is essential.\n, • Strong knowledge of the residential lettings and property management sector.\n, • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.\n, • Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy portfolio effectively.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to property management.\n, • Confident handling maintenance issues, contractors, landlords and tenants.\n, • Numerate with the ability to deal confidently with financial and accounts-related matters.\n, • Ability to work independently, use initiative and make confident decisions.\n, • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.\n, • A good understanding of property compliance and relevant legislation.\n, • Full UK driving licence is essential.\n\n Package and Benefits: \n\n • Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience.\n, • Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays (half days)\n, • Work from home 1 day per week\n, • On-site parking\n, • Fantastic employee benefits package.\n, • Excellent opportunities for career development within an established property business.\n\n
