Role: Due to some internal promotions our client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join this vibrant and rapidly growing PE backed business. The Management Accountant will work in close partnership with the Group Financial Controller to support the effective management of the company's finances. The role involves producing the management accounts for the main trading business, overseeing reconciliation activity, whilst maintaining robust accounting systems, reviewing month-end sales invoices and preparing consolidated group accounts. As a key member of the finance function, the Management Accountant will contribute to the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to support the organisation's strategic and operational objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and roll forward monthly balance sheets and management accounts packs DHC and TEC). Manage finance leases, loan notes journals, interest postings, and reconciliations. Prepare prepayments, staff and trade accruals, cross-entity charges and recognition of deferred/accrued income. Perform intercompany ledger reconciliations, consolidation journals, and management fee recharges. Prepare VAT returns and related journals for the whole Group. Conduct detailed revenue, gross profit, and overhead analysis, producing reports for senior stakeholders. Assist with annual budgeting, overhead forecasts and hoc analysis/reporting for senior management. Manage and mentor the Finance Assistants. Work across finance systems (Xero, SUN) to map, reconcile, and report effectively. Experience Required: ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with proven management accounting experience. Strong technical knowledge of current accounting requirements, standards and policies. Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and present complex data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to business partner across teams. Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively. Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently as well as collaboratively. Resilient under pressure, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast- paced environment. TPBN1_UKTJ
