Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. - Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table assignments. - Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure a seamless flow of guests. - Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with efficiency and kindness. - Maintain an organized reception area and ensure guest information is accurate. - Train and mentor junior hosts to uphold the highest service standards. - Assist with managing guest wait times and communicate delays effectively. - Collaborate with the management team to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Qualifications: - Proven experience in a restaurant reception or host role, preferably in a busy, high-pressure environment. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - A friendly and outgoing personality. - Ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods. - Experience with reservation systems and other restaurant technology is a plus. - Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
