Job description: • Lead the development of a brand-new SEND school and implement the core values and curriculum goals, • Manage the senior leadership team, • Monitor and review school systems and whole pupil progress, • Lead Ofsted preparations and monitor standard compliance, • Manage overall school and staff development, • Ensure implementation and adherence to safeguarding policies, • Salary: £55,000-£75,000 (DOE) Person specification: • Experience working as a Headteacher, • Experience in SLT in a start-up or school undergoing major change is desirable, • At least 2 years working in a SEND environment or similar provision, • QTS/QTLS, • Passionate about working with SEND children, • Excellent communication and ability to liaise with multiple parties Opening in 2026, the school would benefit from someone with a unique vision on how best to develop the provision.
