Authorising Engineer – Offshore Wind (Scotland) Location: Scotland (Offshore / Onshore Support) Contract: Long-term (until at least end of 2026) IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Company: Major Offshore Wind Developer / Operator Recruiter: Spencer Ogden Spencer Ogden is proud to be partnering with a leading offshore wind developer expanding its operations across Scotland. We’re seeking an experienced Authorising Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations across the company’s offshore wind portfolio. Key Responsibilities: • Act as Authorising Engineer for HV/LV electrical systems, ensuring robust safety governance and compliance., • Provide oversight and assurance under the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) framework., • Lead on the development, implementation, and monitoring of safe systems of work., • Support Authorised and Competent Persons in maintaining high standards of electrical safety and operational performance., • Proven experience in an Authorising Engineer or senior electrical safety role, ideally within offshore wind or power generation., • Strong understanding of WTSR, HV/LV authorisation, and electrical safety management systems., • Chartered Engineer (or working towards) preferred., • Outside IR35 contract arrangement., • Long-term contract engagement (through end of 2026, with extension potential)., • Opportunity to work with a leading offshore wind operator at the forefront of the UK’s renewable energy transition.

Due to increased parcel volume, we require people to join our team. M&H Carriers are recruiting for *Forklift Driver *in our depot. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have great customer service and an excellent work ethic. Main roles and responsibilities • Loading / unloading vehicles., • Checking off freight manifests., • Accurate scanning of freight., • Forklift driving., • Manual handling., • Ensuring good housekeeping within the depot., • Demonstrating good health and safety practises. Forklift licence Previous experience in this role Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week. From 05:00AM to 15:00 Monthly pay Please note that your employment with M&H Carriers is contingent upon the submission of a basic disclaimer (DBS) within the first three weeks of your start date. If you do not currently have a basic disclaimer, you may obtain one for a fee of £25.00. M&H Carriers will refund this £25.00 fee upon the successful completion of your probation period.
