Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing York | £55,000 | Monday - Friday (40 hours) Benefits: • Pension scheme, • Training and Development opportunities, • Overtime and on-call allowances, • Employee assistance program Responsibilities: • Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of production facility through maintenance tasks, fault finding and repairing but mechanical and electrical equipment., • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns across a wide range of production equipment., • Provide general Maintenance support, • Responsible for repairs of all equipment when required., • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis., • Troubleshoot and fault finding, • Ensure compliance to all aspects of the company health and safety policy, • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment, • Ensure that all statutory and regulatory checks are carried on schedules in place for all production equipment. What We’re Looking For: • NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in relevant engineering qualification, • Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments, • Strong background in PPMs and breakdown response, • Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance techniques.
