SEN EYFS Teacher Required Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic SEN EYFS Teacher to work within an SEN school in the North West. This SEN EYFS Teacher role is full-time ideally, although part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The ideal SEN EYFS Teacher will have previous experience supporting children within Early Years and Special Educational Needs settings, including pupils with Autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays. The successful Teacher will be passionate about supporting early learning and creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities of the SEN EYFS Teacher: • Plan and deliver engaging Early Years lessons tailored to pupils with Special Educational Needs, • Support pupils’ communication, social, emotional, and developmental needs through structured play and learning activities, • Adapt teaching strategies and classroom resources to meet individual learning needs, • Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment as an effective SEN EYFS Teacher, • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development, • Use positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils’ engagement and wellbeing, • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS framework expectations, • Support pupils with Autism, speech and language needs, and sensory needs where required, • Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours throughout the school day, • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to parents, carers, and senior leaders Requirements for the SEN EYFS Teacher role: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification, • Eligibility to work in the UK, • Recent experience working with children within the last two years, • Previous experience teaching within EYFS and/or SEN settings is desirable, • Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework and child development, • Strong classroom management and communication skills, • Experience supporting pupils with Autism and additional learning needs is advantageous, • Ability to provide two professional references from recent roles working with children, • Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one, • A caring, patient, and creative approach to supporting young learners What Exclusive Education offers Teachers: • Competitive daily rates of pay, • Direct links to local SEN schools and specialist provisions, • Dedicated consultants available 24/7 to support your employment needs, • Commitment to quality, safeguarding, and compliance, • Fast and efficient clearance process If you are interested in this SEN EYFS Teacher role or other teaching opportunities, please send your CV.
