Private Credit Associate / Senior Associate Location: Dubai, UAE The Firm The firm is a reputable, institutionally backed investment platform headquartered in Dubai, with a dedicated focus on providing venture and growth-stage credit solutions to high-quality, venture-backed companies globally. The platform is well-capitalised, operates under robust governance and risk frameworks, and partners with leading venture capital and growth equity sponsors across North America, Europe, and select emerging markets. The firm combines an institutional investment approach with an entrepreneurial mindset, delivering bespoke private credit solutions that support innovation while maintaining disciplined downside protection and capital preservation. The Role The firm is seeking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Private Credit investment team. The role sits at the core of the investment function and involves full lifecycle responsibility across origination, underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of venture debt and growth credit investments. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and contribute meaningfully to investment committee discussions, portfolio construction, and the continued build-out of the firm’s venture and growth credit franchise. Key Responsibilities • Originate, evaluate, and execute venture debt and growth credit transactions across technology, healthcare, fintech, and other innovation-driven sectors, • Perform comprehensive credit analysis, including assessment of business models, unit economics, cash flow visibility, capital runway, and sponsor quality, • Build and review detailed financial models incorporating base, upside, and downside scenarios, liquidity analysis, and covenant sensitivity, • Structure and negotiate investment terms, including pricing, covenants, security packages, equity participation (warrants), and bespoke credit features, • Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and supporting materials for internal investment committee review Origination & Market Engagement • Support sourcing efforts through active engagement with founders, CFOs, venture capital funds, growth equity sponsors, and intermediaries, • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of global venture and growth equity market dynamics, valuation trends, and financing structures, • Represent the firm in meetings with management teams, sponsors, and advisors alongside senior team members Portfolio Management & Monitoring • Monitor portfolio companies against financial performance, liquidity runway, and covenant compliance, • Identify emerging risks and proactively recommend mitigants, amendments, or follow-on solutions, • Support portfolio valuation processes, credit reviews, and internal reporting, • Assist with restructurings, waivers, and exit processes where required Platform & Process Development • Contribute to the refinement of underwriting standards, risk frameworks, and portfolio management processes, • Support development of internal tools, templates, and investment best practices, • Assist in the preparaton of investor reporting and materials as required Candidate Profile • Associate: typically 2–4 years of relevant experience, • Senior Associate: typically 4–7 years of relevant experience, • Prior experience in private credit, venture debt, growth equity, leveraged finance, structured finance, or top-tier investment banking, • Direct exposure to venture-backed or high-growth companies is strongly preferred Skills & Attributes • Strong credit judgement with a clear focus on downside protection and capital preservation, • Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities, • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders and investment committees, • Self-starter with the ability to operate effectively in a lean, high-performance investment environment Education • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline, • CFA or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous but not required Location & Compensation • Role based in Dubai, • Competitive compensation package, including base salary and performance-linked bonus, aligned with leading global private credit platforms, • Opportunity for long-term career progression within a growing, institutionally backed investment platform
