Brigade Electronics, a global market leader in reversing safety and all-round visibility for commercial vehicles, is seeking an experienced Product Development & Applications Technician to support the research, testing, and application of innovative vehicle safety products across our global markets. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in bridging product design and real-world application ensuring our technologies are practical, efficient, and deliver outstanding performance for installers and end-users. Key Responsibilities • Conduct product and system testing, evaluation, verification, and validation, • Provide vehicle-related technical expertise to support product development and resolve integration issues, • Lead and support vehicle installations, field trials, and prototype builds, • Perform benchmarking, tear-down analysis, and troubleshooting of new and existing technologies, • Support engineering documentation, updates, and technical training activities, • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve installation efficiency and system performance About You • Experienced and hands-on with vehicle electrical systems (HGV experience preferred), • Strong understanding of analogue/digital circuits and vehicle interfaces, • Skilled in fault finding, installation, and electrical diagnostics, • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and technical reporting, • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to deadlines, • Excellent communication skills with a practical, resourceful mindset Why Brigade?
