Research Assistant (Audio) Contract: 12 months (extension possible) Working Pattern: 5 days onsite, 40 hours per week Location: Cambridge About the Role An exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join a global technology team working on next-generation audio and smart device projects. The role focuses on data collection, experiment coordination, and metadata management within a high-tech research environment. You’ll collaborate with engineers, project coordinators, and study participants to ensure smooth execution of experiments and accurate data recording. Key Responsibilities • Support and coordinate data collection sessions, • Assist participants through the study process, • Record, organize, and validate metadata accurately, • Manage schedules and assist with lab logistics, • Take ownership of simple technical setups and experiments Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, psychology, humanities), • 2–4 years’ experience in research or data collection, • Excellent organization and attention to detail, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred: • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python or R), • Interest or experience in audio, sound, or music, • Experience working with participants or experimental setups Why This Role • Be part of a high-performing global research team, • Work on innovative projects shaping future technologies, • Gain experience with advanced equipment and real-world studies
