🚀 Head of Market Strategy & Planning – UK & Northern Europe We are seeking a commercially exceptional leader to drive the next phase of category growth across Northern Europe. This is a high-impact, builder role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and customer performance. Our client is a major at-home beverage innovation brand spanning systems, flavours, and consumables. Role Purpose The Head of Market Strategy & Planning is accountable for accelerating sustainable, profitable growth by building a high-performing demand ecosystem across Consumables. This role brings together Perfect Store execution, digital and in-store shopper engagement, demand acceleration, and commercial decision-making to win at every point of purchase across retail, ecommerce, and emerging direct channels. As part of the Northern Europe leadership team, you will define how the business wins in market—building new capabilities, sharpening execution, and driving scalable growth. Scope & Impact • Northern Europe (UK, Benelux, Nordics) – multi-market, multi-channel, • End-to-end ownership of Demand Acceleration, Perfect Store, Trade Marketing, Category Leadership, and Revenue Management, • Drive household acquisition, repeat purchase, and long-term customer value, • Significant impact on Net Revenue Growth, margin quality, and shopper conversion Key Accountabilities 1. Demand Acceleration & Growth Strategy • Lead the demand acceleration strategy across all categories, • Drive penetration, repeat purchase, and lifetime value growth, • Optimise pricing, promotional strategy, and activation cadence, • Translate shopper, consumer, and usage insights into scalable growth initiatives, • Build ecosystem-led thinking across the full product portfolio 2. Perfect Store & Execution Excellence • Own and elevate Perfect Store standards across all channels, • Ensure outstanding execution in visibility, education, and in-store conversion, • Build tracking frameworks, scorecards, and performance routines 3. Category Leadership & Trade Marketing • Lead category strategy across retail and digital environments, • Own trade marketing strategy including innovation launches and seasonal activations, • Develop tailored, insight-led retailer plans that unlock growth 4. Customer & Channel Development • Build and elevate strategic customer partnerships through Joint Business Plans, • Lead channel strategies across Modern Trade, Ecommerce, and emerging channels 5. Commercial Leadership & Capability Building • Partner cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain, and Finance, • Build foundational processes, governance, and ways of working, • Develop scalable commercial excellence capabilities, • Lead teams through ambiguity, transformation, and growth Success Measures • Net Revenue Growth & household penetration, • Repeat purchase rate & customer lifetime value, • Gross margin & promotional efficiency, • Perfect Store execution (physical & digital), • On-shelf availability & digital conversion performance, • JBP delivery, activation ROI & speed to market What We’re Looking For • Strong background in Commercial Excellence, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, or Demand Strategy, • Proven FMCG experience in complex, matrix environments, • Deep expertise in Perfect Store, Trade Marketing, and retail execution, • Strong commercial acumen in pricing, promotions, and customer strategy, • Confident senior stakeholder influencer with strong execution bias Leadership Profile • Builder mindset with a strong bias for action, • Highly analytical, consumer-obsessed, and commercially sharp, • Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional level, • Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Why This Role?
