Job Description Job Title: Welder Job Description We are seeking 40 skilled structural welders to join our team. The ideal candidates will be proficient in Mig and Flux welding, capable of reading blueprints and tape measures, and have the knowledge to set amperage and voltage on welding machines. Additionally, they should be able to grind welds and weld in the 3G (vertical) position. PAY: $19-23 an hour Responsibilities • Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures., • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements., • Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements., • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded., • Align components using calipers, rulers, and other tools, and clamp pieces., • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, or overhead., • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws., • Proficiency in Mig and Flux welding., • Ability to read blueprints and tape measures., • Knowledge and ability to set amperage and voltage on welding machines., • Capability to weld in the 3G (vertical) position., • Experience with fabrication and production. Work Environment This position operates on the 1st shift, from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
