Job Description Sanitation Associate (Bilingual English/Spanish) Location: Forest Park, Georgia Department: Facility Maintenance / Sanitation ( refrigerated warehouse) Available Shifts & Pay • 1st Shift: $15/hr, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Friday/Saturday rotation schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), • 2nd Shifts: $16/hr, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Mon-Thurs), (Friday/Saturday rotation schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)Position Summary The Sanitation Associate is responsible for keeping our facility clean, safe, and organized. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, trash removal, floor care, and housekeeping duties throughout the building—including entrances, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, warehouse areas, exterior spaces, and cooler/freezer areas. Your work will help ensure a professional and safe environment for all associates, visitors, and customers. Key Responsibilities Entrance, Lobbies, and Hallways • Mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors and high-touch areas, • Empty trash and clean surfaces, • Maintain cleanliness in assigned entrance areas Private Offices and Training Areas • Empty trash, dust, and clean ledges and surfaces, • Maintain neat training rooms and offices Breakroom and Vending Areas • Empty trash, sweep, mop, clean appliances and tables, • Wipe sinks, refrigerators, and maintain sanitary eating spaces Restrooms • Clean and sanitize toilets, mirrors, and floors, • Restock supplies, empty trash and sanitary containers, • Ensure restrooms remain clean and stocked Warehouse Areas • Sweep and damp mop walk paths, • Dust surfaces and handrails Exterior Warehouse Areas • Sweep parking lots, sidewalks, and dock doors, • Remove exterior trash Cooler and Freezer Areas • Sweep and remove debris, maintain clean cold storage spaces General Duties • Follow daily and weekly sanitation checklists, • Report issues or supply shortages to supervisor, • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly and safely, • Maintain positive and professional attitude, • Follow all company safety and cleanliness standardsQualifications, • Previous janitorial, sanitation, warehouse, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required, • Ability to follow instructions and work independently, • Strong attention to detail, • Reliable attendance and punctuality, • Comfortable working in warehouse, office, restroom, breakroom, exterior, cooler, and freezer areasPhysical Requirements, • Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout shift, • Lift and carry trash and supplies, • Work with cleaning chemicals and wear required PPE, • Work in varying temperatures, including cooler/freezer environments as neededWork Environment Work is performed in a warehouse and office facility. You may be exposed to high-traffic areas, cleaning chemicals, warehouse equipment, exterior weather, and cooler/freezer temperatures, depending on assignments. Expectations Sanitation Associates are expected to maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility.
