Job DescriptionJob Title: AssemblerJob Summary We are seeking an Assembler to join a production team focused on precision assembly work. This role involves operating small equipment, assembling small and medium-sized components, performing detailed measurements, and reading blueprints to ensure accurate builds. Candidates should be comfortable working with delicate parts and performing rework or repairs as needed. Key Responsibilities • Operate small equipment including presses, magnetizing/demagnetizing tools, and scanners., • Assemble small and medium-sized parts with accuracy and attention to detail., • Fit, adjust, and measure parts using indicators, calipers, micrometers, and gauges., • Perform repairs and rework on sub-assemblies and major assemblies., • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to complete assembly tasks correctly.Essential Skills, • Experience with small-parts or mechanical assembly., • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics., • Proficiency with hand and power tools., • Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools., • Strong basic math abilities, including reading a ruler.Preferred Qualifications, • Previous experience in small-piece assembly., • Ability to work with delicate or sensitive components., • Production-based setting with primarily independent work., • Climate-controlled workspace., • Exposure to strong magnetics and adhesives—must be comfortable working around these materials.Shift Availability, • 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Mon–Thu) & 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM (Fri), • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:15 AM (Mon–Thu) & 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Fri) This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
