Job DescriptionLHH is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close activities, and ensuring reliable reporting across the business. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in accuracy and organization. This role will report onsite five days per week Key Responsibilities: • Process and record daily financial transactions including revenue, expenses, and payments, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, • Ensure proper classification of transactions in accordance with the chart of accounts, • Review and enter vendor invoices while verifying accuracy, • Track payment deadlines and assist with timely disbursements, • Maintain vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies, • Reconcile vendor statements and address outstanding items, • Apply customer payments and record deposits, • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due balances, • Assist with collections activities as needed, • Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations, • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly, • Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and review of entries, • Prepare documentation for external accountants and audit support, • Maintain organized financial records, both digital and physical, • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, • Assist with vendor onboarding and documentation (including W-9 collection), • Track subscriptions, contracts, and recurring expenses, • Provide ad hoc reporting and financial support to management as needed Qualifications:, • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, • 2+ years of accounting experience, • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, • High attention to detail and accuracy, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, • Experience with AP/AR systems or automation tools preferred Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 DOE Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
