Job Description Virtual Sales Specialist Job Description The Virtual Sales Specialist at Avanti Destinations drives growth through strategic partner onboarding, online training, customer outreach by multiple channels including phone, email, and video calls. This role combines sales expertise with digital marketing skills to empower travel advisors while building Avanti's online presence and reach. Working at the intersection of sales and marketing, this position is responsible for onboarding new travel advisor partners, implementing Avanti's technology tools, managing responses on review platforms, and actively engaging in customer communities and social media groups. The role also includes collaborating with Regional Sales Directors to create compelling content and represent Avanti in online forums. The position requires a sales professional with digital marketing skills who can build sustainable sales funnels and develop long-term partnerships. What You’ll Do Partner Onboarding & Implementation • Lead comprehensive onboarding and training sessions for new travel advisor partners, both virtually and in person., • Present Avanti’s B2B2C technology platforms and tools to small and large groups., • Guide new partners through a seamless integration process into the Avanti ecosystem., • Develop and continuously improve onboarding documentation and resources., • Oversee Avanti’s digital presence on platforms like Google Reviews, TripAdvisor, and Yelp., • Respond to customer reviews in a timely, professional, and brand-consistent manner., • Implement strategies to encourage positive feedback and manage reputational risks., • Monitor and report on trends in online sentiment and brand perception., • Community Engagement & Social Media, • Engage with online travel advisor communities (e.g., Facebook groups, industry forums) to promote Avanti’s brand and offerings., • Share educational content and foster thoughtful dialogue with customers and prospects., • Build authentic digital relationships to drive lead generation and enhance brand visibility., • Provide support to advisors active in these digital communities., • Sales Team Content Support, • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to develop targeted social media and sales content., • Design marketing collateral, presentations, and promotional materials tailored to sales initiatives., • Support the personal branding efforts of Regional Sales Directors., • Manage content calendars and craft social media strategies aligned with sales goals., • Funnel Building & Lead Generation, • Leverage social platforms and digital tools to build, maintain, and optimize sales funnels., • Identify and qualify potential leads through proactive online engagement., • Empower advisors to use Avanti resources to create their own marketing funnels., • Track and analyze digital marketing performance to improve lead generation outcomes. Education and Qualifications • You are at least 18 years of age., • High School diploma or GED equivalent, • FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together., • TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly., • AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information., • AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery (copy machine, keyboard, etc.)., • PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. Physical Activities and Requirements: • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables., • MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; the four basic arithmetic operations with money; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound (or their metric counterparts).
