Job DescriptionJob description Sales Administrative Assistant Batavia, Illinois Start date: September 15th, 2025 Grand Appliance and TV specializes in providing customers with a customer-focused shopping experience in state-of-the-art showrooms featuring top quality brands. We are looking for smart, motivated individuals to be involved in all aspects of the sales process including post-delivery. The ideal person will be a self-starter with great interpersonal skills, both with our customers as well as our internal team. This person must be detail-oriented and project a positive welcoming attitude for existing and prospective customers. Duties of the position include the following: • Scheduling of installations for both internal and external installers., • Scheduling of deliveries with customers, including verification of the delivery address., • Transferring and allocating product for deliveries in advance of the installation date., • Updating invoices with information about who and when the installation is coming., • Identifying any special instructions for delivery., • Notifying appropriate salespeople of any delivery issues., • Collecting payments for COD orders., • Set up service calls directly with appropriate services., • Verify service calls are completed in a timely manner., • Communicate with customer service on escalated issues., • Process quotes and orders as needed- ensure correct product and pricing are being utilized., • Assemble specifications with a detailed cover sheet, clearly identifying who is responsible for installation on each product., • Assist customers in the showroom as needed., • Must be friendly and customer-centric with strong organizational skills., • Ability to locate information quickly via online searches.
