Job Description Job Summary: Scale Service Techs Level I work mostly on their own in the field to calibrate and / or repair customer’s industrial scales. Candidates must have strong computer skills, be in good physical condition, enjoy solving technical problems and being part of a team. Upon completion of calibration, the service tech enters data into calibration software and creates a Certificate of Calibration for the customer. They work some overtime and weekend hours. Essential Functions: * Maintenance, calibration and / or repair of Industrial Scales * Respond to Call Service (Emergency) to fix and repair Customer’s Scales – calls could be during or after working hours. Must be willing to work some overtime and weekend hours – may also include some overnight travel. * Consistently maintain good work attendance and productive work ethic. Minimum Requirements / Qualifications: * Strong mechanical, electronic and / or technical background in industrial environment * Valid driver’s license and clean driving history required * Class B CDL license a plus * Welding and/or Concrete knowledge is a plus * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills * 2 Year Technical Degree preferred but not required * Military service or calibration experience a plus * Computer literate * Performance driven and customer focused * Local travel, occasional overnights required Core Competencies: * Commitment to Excellence - Check your work * Customer Relationship Management - communicate with customers to deliver better service * Methodical Approach - troubleshooting * Team Building Physical Demands of the Position: Stands greater than four hours at a time Stoops and bends below knee level 8 – 10 times an hour Lifts and carries less than 100 pounds repetitively Climbs stairs more than four times in an eight hour shift Pushes / pulls objects greater than 25 pounds Reaches out; Reaches overhead Repetitively uses feet to walk and to drive Repetitively uses hands Grips with hands

Job Description Clearsite Industrial Services is expanding and seeking professional Hydrovac Operators to join our business in Charlotte, NC. Hydrovac Excavation is a non-destructive method of excavating as an alternative to mechanical equipment or hand-digging. Hydrovacs use pressurized water and a vacuum system to quickly, safely, precisely and cleanly excavate around utilities, pipelines and numerous other applications. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CLASS “B” CDL LICENSE WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Key Responsibilities • Seventy percent or more of the job’s work time is spent operating the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck, performing non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables., • Other Hydrovac work consists of cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment, truck maintenance, safety meetings, etc., • Heavy lifting at times is required., • Working at heights are sometimes required MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CLASS “B” CDL LICENSE WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. • Minimum of 1 year driving experience with CDL, • Applicant shall agree to initial Drug/Alcohol testing and random testing thereafter, • OSHA10 safety card certification is required. (If applicant does not hold an OSHA10 certification, company will pay for computer-based training with the applicant completing online course within 5 days of hiring on their own. Certification is the property of the applicant.), • Possess a current and valid DOT medical certificate., • Criminal background check and safety performance verification will be conducted., • Clean MVR (2 or less traffic violations in current 3 year period)., • Safety mindedness is essential., • Travel out of town and out of state to work will be required at times., • Must be willing to work flexible hours. (Due to client schedule, our operators may not work every day but must be flexible for irregular hours)., • Underground utility experience a plus. Essential Job Functions: Drive and operate Hydrovac equipment in a safe and professional manner. • Properly document all Company, Federal, State, and Customer documentation/paperwork as required by law and or established policy in a clear and legible manner., • Able to effectively and professionally communicate with on-site customer representatives to locate least intrusive and safest place to park company equipment while on job site., • Able to lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties/tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner., • Able to troubleshoot and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment. Essential Physical Functions/Requirements of the Job: Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
