Job DescriptionJob Title: Medical Device Assembly Technician Job Description Join our team in the manufacturing of medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality standards in medical device production. Responsibilities • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements., • Complete training successfully on production tasks and understand travelers/routers, material identification, microscope usage, and production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds., • Operate tools and equipment and complete documentation as required., • Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks., • Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality., • Assist Engineers in developing process documentation., • Conduct inventory counts., • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics., • Hands-on experience in manufacturing/production environment or prototyping., • Prior microscope and medical assembly experience., • Experience in a cleanroom environment., • Experience in manufacturing catheter products is a plus., • Experience working with adhesives (different Loctite), EFD dispensers, and UV curing systems. You will be working in a cleanroom environment with all necessary safety equipment provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.35/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
