Job DescriptionDescription: We’re looking for a detail-driven, highly organized Payroll Clerk / HR Administrator to support our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring payroll accuracy, supporting HR processes, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong compliance instincts, and enjoy working on both payroll and HR tasks, this is the role for you. What You’ll Do • Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations., • Review and audit timecards, schedules, sick and PTO to ensure proper coding and approvals., • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, wage questions, and associate inquiries., • Assist with new-hire onboarding, employment documentation, and HR file maintenance., • Support I-9, E-Verify, and other regulatory compliance tasks., • Maintain employee records and support HR reporting, audits, and general administration., • Partner with management on payroll corrections, hours tracking, and deadline management., • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment support, and plan changes., • Additional responsibilities as req. Requirements: What We’re Looking For • 1–3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment., • Working knowledge of wage & hour laws, timekeeping rules, and payroll compliance., • Experience with HR support functions (onboarding, documentation, employee files, etc.)., • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work with confidential information., • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset., • Experience with systems such as ADP, Paylocity, RUN, or similar payroll/HRIS platforms is a plus.
