The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA is looking for an Network & Engagement Specialist to join our Denver/hybrid team. The Network and Engagement Specialist is responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of MGMA’s network and community engagement initiatives. Operating with a high level of autonomy, this role is responsible for designing and managing scalable processes that deliver value-driven networking services, community experiences, and professional recognition programs aligned with MGMA’s mission. The Network Product Specialist exercises independent judgment in decision-making and cross-functional collaboration to drive member engagement and expand professional networks across the healthcare industry. Essential Functions: • Manage the planning, development and execution of MGMA’s community building programs and networking activities, including online communities, virtual events, awards programs, the career center, and volunteer engagement systems., • Design and maintain a robust internal and external database of volunteers and subject matter experts to ensure data integrity and accessibility for stakeholder use., • Uses data analytics to assess the performance of networking initiatives and report insights to senior leadership, informing broader member engagement strategies., • Develop and execute external communications in partnership with marketing to engage existing network members and solicit new participants., • Works continuously on the improvement of procedures to enhance productivity such as process improvements, task automation, or engaging new technology., • Leads and/or attends network events for technical support and product enhancement purposes., • Collaborates with internal stakeholders including product team leadership and IT, driving continuous improvement of existing products as well as facilitating the creation of new networking activities., • Proven ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of MGMA’s mission, vision, and values., • Strong data management, database utility, and database skills., • Ability to exercise creativity, critical thinking and problem solving in service of effective workflows and utilization of technology., • Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects while prioritizing accordingly in a time-sensitive environment., • Strong industry reputation and ability to work directly with clients., • Familiarity with healthcare organizations and practices is preferred., • Ability to identify problems, research alternatives, and implement solutions., • Expertise in stakeholder relationship management and cross-functional collaboration, • Ability to work independently to exercise judgment and creativity., • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat although an advanced level is desired., • Three (3) or more years’ experience in membership services, content management, or customer service is required.
