Job DescriptionDescription: Job Summary The primary objective of the Account Executive is to support senior leadership and their book of business through the management of complex client relationships by delivering a Far From Ordinary Client Experience™ while coordinating new business opportunities, strategic initiatives and execution of high-quality client service. This role is well-suited for a service-oriented professional who operates with a strong sense of ownership, performs well in a high-pressure environment, and seeks growth through expanded responsibility. Career development may evolve in multiple directions over time, including sales, client leadership, or strategic support functions, based on organizational needs and individual capability. Primary FunctionsClient Relationship Support • Support and maintain relationships with complex, high-level clients, including executive and C-suite contacts, • Function as a leader within the High Performance Team (HPT), • Ensure timely, accurate, and proactive communication with clients and internal teams, • Anticipate client needs and resolve issues with a strong sense of ownership, • Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership by helping manage priorities, workflows, and client-related activities, • Reduce day-to-day “noise” while ensuring leadership is informed of critical client developments, • Support strategic initiatives related to client retention, growth, and service excellence, • Assist with new business opportunities, including preparation, follow-up, and coordination, • Support sales activity and client initiatives aligned with organizational goals, • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships, services, or solutions, • Manage details, deadlines, and follow-up with exceptional accuracy, • Operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment, • Ensure tasks and commitments are completed on time and at a high standard, • Maintain strong organizational systems to support client and leadership needs Requirements: Qualification StandardsCore ValuesTo be successful at GKG, team members must demonstrate: • Far From Ordinary mindset, • Team-first mentality, • Commitment to growth and learning, • Make-it-happen attitude, • Ability to embrace change as opportunity Experience & Skills, • Prior experience in the insurance industry (within agency) strongly preferred, • Carrier Marketing or account management roles, • Experience working directly with clients in a professional services environment, • Comfort interacting with senior leaders and executive-level clients, • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills, • Able to work quickly in high-pressure situations, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Licensing & Education, • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, • New York State Life, Accident & Health and Property & Casualty licenses preferred, • Willingness to obtain and maintain required licenses and participate in professional development Assessments, • Successful candidates will complete Kolbe and Working Genius assessments, • Ideal profiles demonstrate strong initiative, tenacity, and strengths aligned with Discernment and Enablement Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Equipment, Machines and Software Used Ability to utilize word-processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation tools, CRM/sales pipeline systems, and agency management software. Mental and Visual Requirements Close mental and visual attention required for tasks involving data analysis, detailed documentation, computer work, and extensive reading. Physical Activities and Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Environmental Conditions None. Work is performed in a typical office or hybrid work environment.
