Position Summary: The Senior Business Analyst - Product Owner serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving product initiatives from concept through delivery. This role combines advanced business analysis expertise with product ownership responsibilities, including managing and prioritizing the product backlog to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with organizational objectives. This role leverages data (including SQL) to generate insights, validate outcomes, and support informed decision-making while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. This role reports to the Sr. Product Owner, Customer Connectivity & Digital. Role Specifics • Proactively explores the wholesale tire distribution landscape and business environment to understand complex challenges. Develops a deep functional understanding of internal systems and how technical solutions support business needs through hands-on engagement., • Performs data analysis and validation using SQL for data exploration, requirements development, and solution verification., • Drives the full product lifecycle by capturing business requirements, translating them into well-defined user stories. Actively supporting backlog refinement, and prioritization to ensure alignment with product strategy and business value., • Serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, managing scope documentation, facilitating product delivery decisions, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet defined acceptance criteria and intended outcomes., • Manages competing priorities across multiple initiatives by partnering with stakeholders and product teams to assess business value, urgency, and impact. Ensures delivery timelines, backlog priorities, and execution plans remain aligned with organizational and product goals., • Supports organizational change management by preparing stakeholders for product releases, conducting impact assessments, developing communication plans, and driving adoption of new products, features, and processes., • Collaborates on data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment with product and business objectives., • Contributes to initiatives that enhance supplier connectivity, strengthen customer integration, and advance business intelligence and analytics capabilities. Training & Compliance: • Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines., • Completes ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned., • Performs other duties as assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership. Competencies: • Business Analysis, Product Ownership & Critical Thinking: Understands how business and technology ecosystems interconnect, identifies root causes, recognizes patterns, and translates complex problems into logical, actionable solutions. Applies product ownership principles to define, prioritize, and refine requirements into user stories that maximize business value and align with product strategy., • Communication, Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Builds strong partnerships across technical and business teams, effectively communicating product vision, priorities, and trade-offs. Actively listens to stakeholders to uncover true needs, align expectations, and support informed product decision-making., • Facilitation, Agile Delivery & Documentation: Guides productive meetings, agile ceremonies, and backlog refinement sessions to drive alignment and consensus. Produces clear, comprehensive documentation including product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that bridge business and technical perspectives while supporting successful product delivery., • Continuous Improvement & Product Mindset: Demonstrates a strong learning mindset and commitment to continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance products, processes, and user experience. Willing to stretch beyond core responsibilities to support product success and business outcomes. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required., • 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within a data, analytics, or business intelligence environment,, • Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery frameworks and supporting or leading product backlog management in a Product Owners capacity., • Certification in Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership is a plus (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)) but not required. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proficiency with Jira to support backlog management, requirements tracking, and issue resolution within Agile environments., • Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to effectively document and communicate business processes and system requirements., • Working knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies, including participation in backlog grooming, sprint planning, user story refinement, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), • Foundational SQL skills with experience to data exploration and validation to support analysis and product decision-making., • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical business needs into actionable user stories and contribute to prioritization discussions., • Experience supporting requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and delivery activities across Business Analysis and Product Ownership functions, with guidance from a Senior Product Owner. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Exposure to data and analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, etc.)., • Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems relevant to business operations., • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes., • Experience with Confluence or similar documentation platforms. Working Conditions: • This is a fast-paced and dynamic operating environment., • Majority of time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles., • Must be able to work flexible hours during critical times routinely to support the department., • This role is based in our headquarters office in Dunwoody, GA and requires a strong in-person presence., • Must be able to travel up to 10%.
