Requirements:QualificationsEducation • High school diploma or equivalent (required), • Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program (preferred), • Current certification as a Medical Assistant, • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting, • Experience in Urgent Care (preferred), • EKG experience (required), • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and staff, • Demonstrated initiative and accountability in responsibilities, • Open to constructive feedback and continuous improvement, • Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures, • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, • Familiarity with medical instruments and clinical workflows, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, • Competence with PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office, • Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills, • Occasionally required to sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms, • Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25–50 pounds)
