The HR & Payroll Coordinator will manage full-cycle payroll processing for our multi-site organization and provide comprehensive HR operations support. This role combines technical payroll expertise with hands-on HR coordination, ensuring smooth processes across employee lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in payroll administration as well as HR operations experience with onboarding/offboarding, compliance and employee support. Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to collaborate across teams are essential to this role. Hourly Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 This position is located in Syracuse, NY and requires onsite work. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including geographic location, skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, and overall alignment with business and organizational needs. Payroll • Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and processing of weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payroll., • Maintain and administer time & attendance and time off systems., • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports., • Respond to employee payroll questions promptly and professionally., • Responsible for quarter and year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 distribution and preparation for new year payroll processes., • Review payroll data for accuracy, perform audits and make necessary adjustments., • Administration of the company 401(k) plan., • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, records and HRIS data., • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll and wage and hour laws., • Assist with day-to-day HR operations and initiatives., • Provide guidance on basic HR policies, benefits and procedures; escalate complex issues as needed., • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, including document and system updates., • Support HR team in implementing policies, tracking compliance and updating the employee handbook., • Conduct research, manage projects and create internal communications., • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention and compliance., • Assist with planning company-sponsored employee events to enhance engagement and workplace culture., • Health insurance and prescription drug coverage, • Dental and Vision insurance, • Company-paid life insurance and voluntary life options, • Company paid short-and long-term disability, • Critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance, • Flexible spending accounts, • Pet insurance, • Traditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plan with company match, • Tuition reimbursement and Employee Assistance Program, • Paid vacation, sick/personal days and holidays, • State of the art office space, • Unlimited Starbucks coffee and flavored water, • Team building, • Volunteer opportunities, • Onsite gym, • Casual dress We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
