Job Description Job Title: Mailroom Associate Reports To: The Mailroom Associate will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership. Job Overview: The Mailroom Associate is responsible for the efficient handling, processing, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office supplies within a corporate environment. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer service mindset to support the day-to-day operations of the facility. Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service. Duties and Responsibilities: • Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence in a timely manner., • Prepare, package, and process all outgoing mail and shipments using USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other courier services., • Maintain accurate tracking logs for packages and deliveries., • Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, label printers, copiers, and scanners., • Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies, restocking supply closets and distribution points as needed., • Assist with conference room setups, office moves, and other facilities support duties when required., • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors., • Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures for handling confidential documents and packages., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Excellent customer service skills., • PC skills MS Office Suite experience., • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously., • Good organizational skills., • Working knowledge of MFD equipment., • Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and ability to comprehend instructions., • Possesses ability to work independently and capable of completing projects., • Highschool Diploma or equivalent, • 2+ years experience in a corporate mailroom or facilities environment., • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor., • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and standard mailroom software or tracking tools., • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
