Job Description Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Manager Position Overview The Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Manager is a key member of the aviation team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aircraft maintenance activities to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, accurate recordkeeping, and fleet readiness. This role serves as the primary point of contact between flight operations, maintenance providers, and aircraft manufacturers, managing maintenance schedules, tracking systems, and engine programs. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled aviation professional with strong experience in FAA Part 91 operations, maintenance planning, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced corporate aviation environment. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events, ensuring continued airworthiness and minimal operational disruption., • Serve as the primary liaison between aviation leadership, flight crews, OEMs, and domestic and international maintenance facilities., • Manage aircraft maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, Trust Flight), ensuring accurate records of inspections, discrepancies, and component time tracking., • Administer engine programs, warranties, service agreements, and aircraft subscriptions with manufacturers and service providers., • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including forecasting aircraft downtime and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders., • Ensure compliance with FAA Part 91 regulations and applicable manufacturer maintenance requirements., • Review and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, anticipate technical issues, and recommend corrective actions., • Maintain complete, accurate, and properly archived aircraft logs and technical records (physical and electronic)., • Communicate maintenance status, risks, and recommendations clearly to support operational and leadership decision-making., • Ensure maintenance activities align with operational priorities, safety standards, and service expectations. Qualifications • 5–7+ years of experience in aviation maintenance operations, preferably in a corporate or business aviation environment., • Strong hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance tracking software (CAMP required; Trust Flight, Corridor, or Traxxall preferred)., • Solid working knowledge of FAA Part 91 and Part 43 regulations., • Experience managing engine programs, service agreements, warranties, and component life tracking., • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with maintenance teams, vendors, and flight operations., • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)., • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent technical background., • Experience supporting international maintenance operations., • Background in multi-aircraft or charter maintenance environments., • Degree or certifications in aviation maintenance management or a related field., • Prior experience coordinating with aircraft manufacturers and global service centers., • Familiarity with corporate or business jet platforms (e.g., large-cabin or light jet aircraft).Company DescriptionNorthbound Executive Search offers a genuine, hands-on approach to recruiting.
