Job DescriptionJob Title: Clean Room TechnicianJob Description | NO INTERVIEW - START NEXT DAY The Clean Room Technician works in a controlled clean room environment, fully gowned, to support the cleaning and preparation of tools, instruments, and totes used to process bovine blood for medical manufacturing. This role focuses on precise cleaning, handling, and staging of materials while following strict work instructions and documentation requirements to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant production. Responsibilities • Work in a clean room environment while fully gowned and follow all clean room protocols and procedures., • Clean and sanitize tools, instruments, and totes used in the processing of bovine blood using large industrial dishwashers or by hand as required., • Handle and work around bovine blood and blood-related products in a safe and professional manner while following all safety guidelines., • Assist with labeling, capping, and staging materials and products in preparation for the next day’s production activities., • Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures accurately and consistently., • Perform basic assembly and production tasks related to medical device and clean room operations as needed., • Use hand tools and general production equipment safely to support cleaning, assembly, and preparation tasks., • Support packaging, kitting, picking, and packing activities to ensure products and materials are ready for use or shipment., • Conduct visual inspection of tools, instruments, and materials to verify cleanliness, integrity, and proper labeling., • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of completed work, including cleaning records and production logs., • Monitor inventory of tools, instruments, and supplies used in the clean room and communicate needs to the appropriate personnel., • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and high quality standards., • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for medical manufacturing and clean room operations., • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a medical or similar regulated environment preferred., • Experience working in a clean room, medical assembly, or medical device manufacturing environment is highly beneficial., • Ability to work comfortably around blood and blood-related products and to perform cleaning of instruments used with bovine blood., • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day., • Strong attention to detail when cleaning, inspecting, labeling, and documenting work., • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal work instructions accurately., • Effective written and verbal communication skills to document work and interact with team members., • Ability to accurately document finished work, including cleaning and production activities., • Good hand dexterity for handling small instruments, components, and labeling tasks., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality., • Experience with medical assembly, packaging, inspection, labeling, inventory, kitting, picking, and packing., • Familiarity with using hand tools and general production equipment., • Ability to adapt to different tasks such as staging, capping, labeling, and basic assembly work., • Comfort working in environments that include cold storage areas such as stand-up and walk-in freezers for short periods. Work Environment This role is based in a clean room within a medical manufacturing facility that is well lit, clean, and maintained at comfortable temperatures. You will work fully gowned in a controlled environment and handle tools, instruments, and materials used to process bovine blood. The work is generally light but fast paced, requiring consistent focus and attention to detail. Some products are stored in stand-up freezers similar to those used in a garage; gloves are provided as needed. Occasionally, you may need to enter a larger walk-in freezer briefly, typically for no more than 2–5 minutes at a time, to retrieve products. The broader facility resembles a college campus, with large break rooms, areas for ping pong, workout rooms, and other amenities that support a comfortable and engaging workplace.
