Job Description Position Summary The Director of Communications is responsible for the care, custody, oversight, and continuous development of Cataldo Ambulance Service’s regional Communications Center. This role provides executive-level leadership to a mission-critical operation singularly focused on aligning the right ambulance resources with the clinical, operational, and situational needs of each patient. The Communications Center manages both emergency (9-1-1) and non-emergency requests for service and functions as a regional secondary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), supporting 16 cities and towns. The Director ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, workforce development, and technology-enabled performance in a high-acuity, high-reliability environment. This position is supported by Communication Center Managers and Dispatch Supervisors, and operates within a matrixed organizational structure, collaborating closely with Operations, Clinical Leadership, HR, Finance, IT, and Executive Leadership. About the team and role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Compensation Analyst to support the design, implementation, and management of our compensation programs. This role will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, HRIS Teams and business leaders to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our strategic goals. Job Description Founded in 1974, Stone House is a comprehensive, trauma-informed nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for and protecting adult and child survivors of domestic abuse, helping them rebuild safe, secure, and independent lives of purpose and self-fulfillment. Rooted in the neighborhoods of Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, and Hyde Park, Stone House combines the security of a safe environment with a full continuum of residential and community-based programs that support trauma recovery, personal growth, and essential life-skill development. Stone House offers Emergency Shelter, Housing Stabilization, and Community Support Services. The organization provides comprehensive case management across all programs, including crisis intervention, benefits and legal assistance, employment and education guidance, and advocacy. THE OPPORTUNITY Stone House seeks a dynamic, mission-driven, and externally oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. This is a pivotal moment: the organization has meaningfully expanded its physical footprint and service capacity and is now poised to strengthen its fundraising infrastructure, deepen community partnerships, and build the financial resilience to sustain and grow its mission in a complex and evolving funding environment. The CEO will be expected to maintain a regular in-person presence at Stone House's Egleston Square facility and to be actively present in the Boston community—meeting with donors, partners, elected officials, and stakeholders throughout the city and region. The salary for this role is $170,000.
