Job Description We are looking for a talented and motivated mid-level IT Developer to join our team and play a key role in modernizing our systems with cutting-edge technologies. As part of our team, you will have the exciting opportunity to support the migration of legacy systems to innovative solutions that drive efficiency and productivity. Collaborating closely with our development teams, you will be instrumental in creating a dynamic, scalable, and responsive system that meets the evolving needs of our organization. Responsibilities: • Lead the enhancement and maintenance of our Back-end system, specifically focusing on our Payroll Tax Calculation Engine to ensure accuracy and efficiency., • Spearhead the design and implementation of Cloud architecture solutions, leveraging the latest technologies to optimize performance and scalability., • Develop containerized applications using Docker for on-premises deployment, streamlining operations and enhancing portability., • Drive the modernization of legacy applications by transitioning from monolithic architectures to microservices-based architectures, improving flexibility and agility., • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Development, IT, Testing, and Quality Assurance to align product development with strategic business objectives., • Monitor system performance, conduct regular evaluations, and identify opportunities for optimization and fine-tuning to enhance overall efficiency., • Design and implement backend REST APIs to facilitate seamless integration within the system architecture, ensuring smooth communication between components., • Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and implementing large-scale transactional systems utilizing Microsoft technologies within the Azure Cloud and/or SQL Server environment., • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience., • Experience with payroll taxation is advantageous, although not mandatory., • Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud engineering or infrastructure, with a strong understanding of Cloud architecture and deployment best practices., • Proficient in analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable insights. Our office is in North Dallas. This position is HYBRID remote; applicants should live or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Typical in-office presence is 3 days a week or as needed.
